Building
DESERT RESEARCH CENTRE
A bridge-shaped building carved into desert rocks, which reveals life flowing within through irregular slits. The cuts are conceived as being produced by the erosive action of wind and sand. Desert Research Centre is a cultural, scientifical and technological hub. Stimulating and smart exhibition rooms, a research centre for the analysis of the new frontiers of modern structural geology and tectonics, laboratories, conference areas and cultural spaces all find their place in the construction.
A powerful and mimetic gesture between sand and stone, to make way to the discovery of new horizons.
